Ulix d.o.o. limited liability company for tourism, trade, services and travel agency, Miramarska cesta 26, 10 000 Zagreb as the head of the processing of your data, respects your privacy and is committed to the protection of your personal data.

The collection and storage of data is carried out in accordance with the provisions of EU Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data. General regulations on data protection (OG 42/2018) and other regulations governing the subject area, which are applicable in the Republic of Croatia.

This Policy applies to any processing of personal data of Ulix d.o.o. unless another policy of Ulix d.o.o. is otherwise prescribed. Exceptionally, in relation to the processing of data by users of services Ulix d.o.o. this Policy takes precedence over other policies if those policies otherwise stipulate rights and obligations regarding data processing.

DATA PRIVACY OVERVIEW

Ulix d.o.o. within the application of this Policy, special attention is paid to the observance of the principles of data processing and processes data:

Data may be processed for matching purposes only taking into account (a) any link between the purposes of the collection of personal data and the purposes of the intended continuation of the processing; (b) the context in which the personal data were collected, in particular as regards the relationship between the respondents and Ulix doo (c) the nature of the personal data, in particular whether specific categories of personal data are processed in accordance with Article 9 of the Regulation; relating to criminal convictions and criminal offenses in accordance with Article 10 of the Regulation; (d) the possible consequences of the intended continuation of processing for the respondents; and (e) the existence of appropriate safeguards.

Personal data provided by Ulix d.o.o. records already at the time of reservation and are collected on the basis of the laws governing the tourist activity, and for the purpose of providing services to consumers. These are the following data (which are subject to change due to positive regulations):

residence address (Croatian citizens)
date of birth number
type of identification document and place of issue citizenship
date of arrival and departure
e-mail address
telephone number

Purpose of collection

Your personal information Ulix d.o.o. is obliged to collect due to the fulfillment of the travel contract and due to the regulations governing the tourist activity, but some other or the same data Ulix d.o.o. may collect for other purposes primarily for contact:

fulfillment of the accommodation contract
meeting the requirements of the law and other applicable positive regulations governing the hospitality industry
for direct marketing purposes
sending bids
for the purpose of holding prize games
for the purpose of improving and personalizing the service to you as a consumer

Ulix d.o.o. guarantees that the collected data will be used only for the stated purposes.

Ulix d.o.o. may use depersonalized data for statistical purposes.

Legal basis of collection

The legal basis for the stated collection purposes are:

legal,
contractual,
key interests of respondents,
a legitimate interest that is stronger than the interest of the respondent or,
consent or explicit consent of the respondent, depending on the purpose of processing and the type of personal data

The information required for the reservation, conclusion of the Contract and subsequent realization of contractual obligations and services is provided by the buyer voluntarily. The customer is only required to provide the necessary information for making a reservation / concluding the Contract and providing / performing services in accordance with the Contract.

In cases when the intermediary and not the direct service provider and when for concluding the Contract and performing services it is necessary to forward certain passenger data to the contractor submits to the accommodation unit, data on guests collected by local tourist boards in accordance with legal provisions on sojourn taxes, etc.) the contracting partner / executor undertakes in accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR to handle data within contractual and legal obligations and undertakes use the data exclusively for the purpose for which it has a legal basis, ie the consent of the buyer for the conclusion of the Contract and the performance of contractual obligations and services.

The right to inspect client data / official documents containing client data, in accordance with legal provisions, has the competent authorities (competent inspections, police, judicial authorities).

Standard data on clients collected through reservation forms are: name and surname, address, date of birth, contact phone / mobile number, contact e-mail, handwritten signature (in case the client contracts services in person at the branch and fills in the physical application form, data about the means of payment (eg account number or card details in case of filling in the remote authorization form).

In order to better organize travel and better execution of services, Ulix d.o.o. may request from the client some additional information and data, for which the client gives his consent. In case of contracting specific services, Ulix d.o.o. has the right to request additional information from the client (eg OIB, ID number or passport with expiration date, etc.), which should be forwarded to the contracting partners in order to contract and perform the requested service. In the event that the client submits data from the category of specially protected personal data (eg health data), the client gives his consent to the processing of such data for the purpose of execution of the Agreement - the provision of special services.

Ulix d.o.o. also collects and processes the following customer data for the purpose of communicating with customers, providing information on new offers, providing requested information as well as fulfilling legal and contractual obligations: information that customers enter in the contact form on the official website of Ulix d.o.o. and the corresponding sub-domains / pages of projects in the organization, data that clients enter in the pre-registration and newsletter forms; data provided by clients via e-mail / official correspondence.

When a client visits a website, cookies are collected (http://www.allaboutcookies.org) to provide an enhanced search experience based on location, language and other settings, and client preferences. By blocking cookies, the client can still browse the site, but there is a possibility that some features and content will not be available to him. Also, each client has the option in the settings of the Internet browser he uses to delete and / or block "cookies" at any time.

The main systems through which data are collected and processed, ie the necessary documentation is prepared and communication with clients and marketing activities are performed:

Taking into account the legitimate interests of the clients and the legitimate interests of Ulix d.o.o. the contact details provided by the clients are used for the purpose of informing the clients about: payment deadlines and debts for ongoing reservations; any relevant information or possible changes related to offers and contracts; final pre-trip notices; discounts that the client can get; new offers that could interest the client based on the previously expressed interest. The client reserves the right to unsubscribe from the newsletter list at any time (by clicking on "Unsubscribe") and will no longer receive notifications of new offers and discounts. Likewise, at any time, the client may re-subscribe to the newsletter list / renew their consent to the use of the data for marketing purposes.

The client is entitled to Ulix d.o.o. request information on what his personal data is processed and stored, as well as request correction in case of inaccurate data or deletion of certain data for which there is no legal basis for storage. About the solution of such a request Ulix d.o.o. will notify the client within the legal deadline of no later than one month. This period, with the justification given to the client, may be extended by an additional two months, as appropriate, taking into account the complexity and number of requests.

Ulix d.o.o. cannot satisfy the client's request to delete the data and / or documents necessary for the performance of the Contractual Services, as well as the data and / or documents provided by Ulix d.o.o. in accordance with legal provisions, it must keep it until the expiry of the legal deadlines for the obligation to keep it (eg offers, contracts, invoices, etc.).
